About the event

To do optimization is to code. In this tutorial, we will dive into approaches on how to test that code for correctness and performance, using an array cable layout problem from the offshore wind industry written in Python. It will be accessible to all levels, however a certain familiarity with basic optimization concepts and programming will be a great plus.

The tutorial is held by Richard Oberdieck, a seasoned Analytics Professional and Lead Data Scientist at BankingCircle. Richard has a proven track record in data-driven decision making across various industries - from identifying opportunities and designing tailored solutions to successful implementation and stakeholder management.
