ABOUT DORS
Danish Operations Research Society was founded August 21st 1962, and today consists of approximately personal members as well as company and institutional members.
The aim of DORS is to promote the operation of analytical research and application of operations research methods in Denmark and to facilitate contacts with similar associations and organizations in as far as possible to connect with other countries’ operations research scientists, organizations and associations, and by providing for the participation of members in meetings, congresses, seminars, etc. on operations research questions.

PERSONAL MEMBERS
DORS offers personal members to:

Receive OR-relevant job postings.

Access to networking events and company visits.

Get the member magazine, ORbit, sent to your address.
Students: DORS offers free membership to students. DORS is a great way for students to get a glimpse of what it’s like to work with OR professionally and access for businesses that hire newly graduated people.
COMPANY MEMBERS
DORS offers business memberships for companies who want to promote OR in their own business and in Denmark who get:

Access to post job openings for all members consisting of everything from students interested in operations research to specialists with many years of experience in OR.

Note: Company members are not eligible for the Board of Directors and have no voting rights.
INSTITUTION MEMBERS
DORS is the Danish link to the international OR environment through our membership of EURO.
