The workshop is targeted at decision makers considering adopting quantitative optimization methods in their business processes as well as managers and practitioners who seek input to ongoing projects. </p><p>The purpose of the workshop is to highlight some of the main challenges faced by organizations seeking to adopt quantitative optimization methods in their business processes. The workshop will focus on presenting the subject of business optimization in a non-technical manner. </p><p><br />Through contributions from one of the industry leaders in business optimization and three cases from actors in <em>oil and gas, health care</em> and <em>air transport</em> industries the workshop seeks to provide both an overview of the current best practice as well as specific challenges associated with executing and implementing business optimization projects. Talks will discuss aspects relating to <em>data analytics</em>, <em>problem modeling</em>, and <em>organizational implementation</em>.</p><p><br />Each talk will be followed by a brief discussion session allowing you to get input on current challenges you might currently be facing or otherwise seek additional details on specific aspects of the presented topic. </p><p><br />The workshop especially addresses the decision makers and analytic personnel in companies starting or already working on optimization projects.
